The shift

Search has evolved.
Most programmes haven't.

01

LLMs are answering your audience's questions

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Mode are now the first stop for many searches. If your brand isn't being cited, you're losing ground you can't see in your analytics.

02

SEO alone won't close the gap

Traditional ranking tactics don't automatically translate to AI visibility. A different approach is needed: one that treats search and AI as a single, connected discipline.

03

Most teams are still figuring it out

GEO is new. Real expertise is rare. Most in-house teams and agencies are catching up. The advantage goes to those who move first with a clear, grounded strategy.

My approach

Your audience uses both
search and AI. So do I.

I don't treat SEO and AI search as separate disciplines. They share the same foundations: clear entity signals, strong content structure, technical hygiene and external trust. Get those right, and you rank in Google and get cited by AI.

That's not two strategies running in parallel. It's one integrated programme, built and measured as a whole.

What I cover

I look at your organic
presence holistically.

Search & AI Visibility

Rankings, share of voice, AI mention tracking. I benchmark where you are today and build the strategy to improve what's measurable: positions, citations and AI representation.

Technical Readiness

Crawl health, indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, structured data and AI accessibility signals such as llms.txt, server-side rendering and markdown. The technical foundation search engines and AI models depend on.

Content & Reach

Keyword research, audience personas, content gaps, fan-out topic coverage. I recommend what to create, how to structure it for search and AI, and how to amplify it to reach the right people.

External Authority

Reviews, forums, social profiles, media coverage and third-party mentions. I identify the gaps and recommend how to grow the trust signals that AI models and search engines rely on to surface and recommend your brand.

How I work

A clear process.
Real accountability.

The right shape for every engagement varies. Here's how a full programme typically unfolds.

Step 01

Audit

A full review across four key areas: visibility baseline, technical, content and authority. The "before" picture that drives everything that follows.

Step 02

Strategy

Prioritised, written recommendations. Clear on what to do, why, and in what order. Sized to your team's capacity and your business goals.

Step 03

Optimisation

Recommendations turned into specs. Your team delivers. I QA throughout, across technical, content and off-page workstreams running in parallel.

Step 04

Monitor & Improve

An ongoing loop: measure, review, refine, implement, measure again. Not a handoff. I stay involved for as long as the engagement runs.

Project

Scoped work with a clear start and end

From a single audit to a 3-month programme. Defined scope, deliverables agreed upfront, priced per project. Ideal when you have a specific challenge to solve or a gap to fill.

1 day to 3 months

Ongoing

Regular involvement over a fixed period

Structured in phases: discovery, strategy, ongoing recommendations, QA and reporting. Renewable. For brands that want a senior partner embedded in the programme, not just a one-off opinion.

3 months to 12 months · renewable

Not every engagement follows this shape. I also work as a strategic consultant, advising on team structure, agency model, or as a senior resource on a specific project such as a migration or platform change.

FAQ

Questions I get asked.

GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimisation: the practice of making your brand visible and credible in AI-powered answers: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Gemini. It matters now because a growing share of search behaviour starts with an AI tool, not a traditional search bar. If you're not optimising for both, you're invisible to part of your audience.
No. That's actually the core of what I do. SEO and GEO share the same foundations: strong content, clear entity signals, technical hygiene and external trust. The right programme builds both at once. Running them separately is inefficient and usually produces worse results for each.
I work with three types of clients: enterprise brands with in-house marketing teams that need senior organic search expertise; brands and startups at a growth inflection point that need to define or rebuild their organic strategy; and agencies that need a senior SEO/GEO partner for specific projects, capability gaps or white-label work. What they share is a need for senior expertise they don't have internally.
With a discovery call, usually 30–45 minutes. I want to understand your situation, what you're trying to achieve and where the gaps are. From there I'll propose either a scoped project or an ongoing engagement, and we agree on scope and timelines before anything starts.
Yes. I work with SEO, digital and integrated agencies across the UK and French-speaking markets. This could be plugging a resource gap on a specific client, advising on your agency's own SEO offering, or delivering white-label work under your brand. I understand agency dynamics and the pressures involved.
Directly with me throughout. I've deliberately kept this practice small so I can stay close to the work. You get the senior expertise and the delivery, not one without the other.
Yes. I'm a native French speaker and work fully in both languages across the UK, US and France. If you need someone who can operate seamlessly across both markets, that's a genuine differentiator I offer.
I don't publish rates: pricing depends on the scope, timeline and type of engagement. The best way to get a clear picture is to book a discovery call. From there I can propose something specific and transparent.
